Bus Service changes for the Relocation of Jurong East Bus Interchange

Bus services would be amended with the relocation of Jurong East Temporary Bus Interchange to its new site from 6 December 2020.

In Summary:

• to terminate the Relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange:
  41, 49, 51/51A, 52, 66/66B, 97, 97e, 98/98M, 105/105B, 143, 143M, 160/160A/160M, 183/183B, 197, 333, 334, 335 & 506
• to start/end at Jurong Gateway Road (Bef Jurong East Stn):
  78/78A
• to loop at Jurong Gateway Road:
  79
• to skip Jurong East Central:
  97, 97e, 197 & 333
• to start from / end at Venture Drive Private Bus Pick Up Point:
  CW3, CW4 & CW4S

Changes to Bus Services at Bus Stops

Changes to bus services calling at bus stops around Jurong East Bus Interchange are effective 6 December 2020.

Route Amendment for Bus Services

Bus Service 78

Bus Service 78 will be amended to start service from Bus Stop 28301 – Blk 131, Jurong Gateway Rd and loop at Clementi Avenue 3, terminating at Bus Stop 28211 – Bef Jurong East Stn, Jurong Gateway Road from 6 December 2020. It will not serve the relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange.

Short Trip Bus Service 78A will also be amended to start service from Bus Stop 28301 – Blk 131, Jurong Gateway Rd.

Bus Service 79

Bus Service 79 will be amended to start from Boon Lay Int and loop at Jurong Gateway Rd from 6 December 2020. It will not serve the relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange.

It will also skip one bus stop along Jurong East Central (28439 – Blk 124) & two bus stops along Jurong Town Hall Rd (28241 – Opp Jurong East Lib & 28231 – Jurong Town Hall).

Short Trip Bus Service 79A will also be amended to start service from Boon Lay Int and terminate at Bus Stop 28249 – Jurong East Lib, Jurong Gateway Rd.

Bus Services 97, 97e & 197 will be amended to the relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange from 6 December 2020 via Jurong East Street 12.

As such, Bus Service 97 & 197 will skip 6 bus stops while Service 97e would skip 5 bus stops.

Bus Service 333

Bus Service 333 will be amended to the relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange from 6 December 2020 via Jurong Gateway Rd & Boon Lay Way.

As such, Bus Service 333 will serve 3 additional bus stops while skipping 7 bus stops.

In addition to being amended to the relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange from 6 December 2020, Bus Services 41, 51, 52, 98, 98M, 105, 143, 143M, 183, 334 & 335 will serve Bus Stop 28211 – Bef Jurong East Stn, Jurong Gateway Road for alighting only.

Short Trip Services 51A, 105B & 183B will also be amended to start from relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange.

Bus Services 49, 66, 66B, 160, 160A, 160M & 506

Bus Services 49, 66, 66B, 160, 160A, 160M & 506 will serve the relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange instead of the existing Jurong East Temporary Bus Interchange from 6 December 2020.

Causeway Link Bus Service CW3, CW4 & CW4S

Causeway Link Bus Services CW3, CW4 & CW4S will start and terminate at the Jurong East Private Bus Pick Up Point along Venture Avenue when bus services resume. These cross border services are currently suspended due to the Malaysia Movement Control Order.
