Short Trip Service Service 974A is a trunk service operating from Joo Koon Int and ends at Choa Chu Kang Ave 4 (Lot 1/Choa Chu Kang Stn), via Bukit Panjang MRT.
As a Short-Trip Service, the route operates daily and supplements the Bukit Panjang and Choa Chu Kang sectors of existing Bus Service 974 during the late night hours, as train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT end earlier from 13 January 2019 to allow for accelerated rail renewal work.
After terminating at Choa Chu Kang Ave 4 (Lot 1/Choa Chu Kang Stn), several Service 974A buses will turn around and perform special departures of Bus Service 974A from Choa Chu Kang Ave 4 (Opp Choa Chu Kang Stn).
During Eves of Public Holidays, as well as MRT Early Closure affecting Choa Chu Kang MRT Station, operating hours from Bus Stop 44531 – Opp Choa Chu Kang Stn, Choa Chu Kang Avenue 4 will be extended. Exact last bus hours are announced by SBS Transit closer to these dates.
