Jurong West MRT Station

Jurong West MRT Station (JS6) is an elevated station located along the Jurong Region Line (JRL) Phase 1. It is built along Jurong West Avenue 2, near the junction with Jurong West Street 23, bringing rail connectivity to schools, residential developments, community amenities and industries in the area.

The station is in the vicinity of schools such as Corporation Primary School; community amenities such as Boon Lay Community Centre and Boon Lay Shopping Centre; Singapore Boys’ Home, St. Joseph’s Home; and residential developments around Jurong West Avenue 2 and Boon Lay Avenue.

The station is targeted for completion and opening in Year 2026.

• Northbound: Jurong Region Line (West) towards JS1NS4BP1 Choa Chu Kang via JS5 Corporation
• Southbound: Jurong Region Line (West) towards JW2 Tawas via JS7 Bahar Junction and JS8EW27 Boon Lay

Jurong West station has two platforms in an island platform arrangement.

The station platforms are built to four-car length to cater for future expansion, although trains will only operate in a three-car formation.

Jurong West Station will be constructed as part of Contract J105 – Design and Construction of Jurong West Station, Bahar Junction Station and Viaduct for Jurong Region Line, which was awarded to China Railway 11 Bureau Group (Singapore Branch) at a contract value of $210.1 million in December 2019.
