A&S Transit is launching its People Mover Deluxe Volvo B8L double-decker bus!
An official launch of the bus will be held on 3 July 2022, 2pm, at ComfortDelgro 205 Braddell Rd, Singapore 579701. You may register your interest to attend at this form.
The Volvo B8L bus was formerly a trial bus with SBS Transit as SG4003D, operating between April 2018 – April 2020 on Bus Service 94 and 71. The bus was last spotted on revenue service in April 2020, and thereafter returned to Volvo Buses, concluding its trial period on Singapore roads.
In June 2022, the bus was subsequently re-registered to private bus operator A&S Transit as PD169L.
Prior to the official launch of the People Mover Deluxe, photos of the bus being repainted into the A&S Transit livery were circulated online.
The bus’s former lush green livery was replaced with a Cyan Blue and White livery, with the A&S logo running diagonally across the bus. The A&S logo is also plastered all across the bus.

Previously, A&S Transit also purchased 18 units of MAN A22 buses, formerly used by SMRT Buses and as COMET MAXI vehicles. These buses are currently being used for ad-hoc charter services.
