Short Trip Service 9B supplements weekday morning peak hour demand for Bus Service 9, connecting housing estates in Simei and Tampines East to industries in the Loyang area and Changi Airfreight Centre.

Commuters should note that Bus Service 9A terminates at Airline Road (3rd Cargo Agents) and hence does not serve all of Changi Airfreight Centre. Bus stops along Airport Cargo Rd are skipped (namely CIAS Cargo Ters, AirFreight Ter Bldg and SATS Cargo Ter).

Changi Airfreight Centre

Changi Airfreight Centre is a restricted area and only staff with valid passes are allowed to enter. Auxiliary police officers will board the bus to check for staff passes at the Police Pass Office along Airline Road. Visitors who do not have a pass are to alight at Police Pass Office.
