Service 84G connects residential areas in Northshore and Punggol North with key amenities in Punggol Town Centre, Punggol Point, and the new Punggol Digital District, which includes the SIT Punggol Campus.
On 23 June 2024, Service 84 was divided into two variants: 84G (Green, for the clockwise route) and 84W (White, for the anti-clockwise route). Service 84G operates clockwise via Sentul Crescent, Punggol Way, Northshore Drive (Samudera LRT), and New Punggol Road towards Punggol Temporary Interchange, while Service 84W operates in the reverse direction.
Both services share two pairs of bus stops along Punggol Central and Punggol Road.
